“Lema”

Lema is a female red and white basenji, born approximately June 21, 2007, imported to the U.S. on September 24, 2007, discovered in Yasa Village, Ikolombe, DR Congo.

"Lema" is of small stature. We affectionately call her our 'wee one'. Nearly square, she represents most closely the block profile. She is petite and feminine. Lema has superb pigmentation. She is chest nut (sic) red and white. Her dam was red and white but her sire was a mahogany-tri. She has an outstanding head with exceptional wrinkle on both forehead and sides, with good cushioning. Her ears are compact and well hooded. Her tail is carried in an open arch over her back. She has compact, tight feet. She is physically and temperamentally adorable. Lema has a quite (sic) personality in the pack but is one of the sweetest with people, seeking out lots of lap attention. She is always the one people are drawn to. Litters none:
