Lukuru Amisi

Amisi is a male red and white basenji, born approximately May 1, 2007, imported to the U.S. on September 24, 2007, discovered in Luapa Village, Iyaelima territory, Salonga National Park, DR Congo.

Amisi exhibits balanced structure according to the Basenji Standard. He has a great temperament. He is a small, rough coated, lightly built dog. He has good forehead wrinkling and a tightly curled tail. Although his coat color appears fawn, he is genetically red and white (Ay). He has excellent black mascara and very dark almond-shaped eyes. He is very vocal but does not bark. He will contribute very positively to the gene pool.
