Bungwa of Blean

“Bungwa”

From Veronica Tudor-Williams 1946 book: "Opinions can justifiably be very mixed over Bungwa. As Mrs. Burn herself said, his stock showed a tendency to bark, so she very wisely removed him from stud. On the other hand he gave the breed some excellent points which we should otherwise be without.. " "To describe him one would say he was a sound showy dog with excellent movement. A rich red, with a good dark eye and black nose. Short backed and very stylish. His ears seemed rather big, with a tendency to tip, and his tail, instead of lying to one side, had the untypical central curl."
