From the import record: Luka is a small, 15.25 inch 19 lb bitch we obtained as an adult in a remote forested area about fifty miles southwest of Niangara, DRC. She is a bit longer than tall with very fine bone, dark eye. Her head is exceptional. Short muzzle, good eye placement, perfect planes. Movement is true coming and going as well as effortless from the side. Temperament and personality are among the best I have ever seen. She greets every stranger as if they are her best friend in the world. Board member Wanda Pooley noted: "Superb moving basenji and has a wonderful temperament that belies the term 'aloof.'"
